Mission Statement:
MUN is established in order to encourage students in active civic engagement within the global community by exploring and debating world issues from the perspective of the world leaders of the international community. Additionally, MUN will help students to develop leadership skills within the international forum allowing members to experience and understand the world?s countries and their interaction within the structure of the United Nations.

Membership Requirements
General membership shall consist of any undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Maryland interested and willing to participate in MUN
